How to Add New Add-Ons

Create add-ons and extras (for example Extra Cheese or French Fries) so you can attach them to dishes and sell extras with orders.

How to add a new add-on

1. Open Menu, then Add-Ons & Extras.
2. Click + Add New Add-On. The Create Add-On form opens.

Fill the fields on Create Add-On:

• Type - use this to group add-ons so you can filter and find them faster (for example Veg). The dropdown shows Select add-ons type.
• Add-On Name - required. Use this so you can recognize the extra on the list and when you attach it to dishes (for example Extra Cheese).
• Add-On Photo - optional. Click Click here to upload your Image to make the add-on easier to spot on Add-Ons & Extras.
• Actual Price - required. Set the selling price for this add-on (shown with Rs).
• Discount - optional. Lower the listed price when you want a promo on this add-on.
• Setup stock consumption - optional. Use this to track inventory for the add-on and review Listed Price, COGS, and Gross Profit.
• Remarks - optional. Add notes you may need later when managing this add-on.

Click Save Add-On to save. Use Reset to clear the form, or Close (the X) to leave without saving.

Link the add-on to a dish

1. Open Menu, then Dishes.
2. Open the dish with Edit Dish (or create a new dish).
3. Use Add-Ons / Extras / Add Extra to attach the add-on.
4. Save with Save Changes or Save Dish.

What happens next

The add-on appears on the Add-Ons & Extras list. Columns include Price, Type, Used In, and Available. Use the Available switch when you need to control whether the extra can be offered. See How to Manage Add-On Status.
