Use Orders when a guest is ready to order. You pick an order type, assign a table or customer when needed, add dishes, then confirm so the kitchen can start.
Before you start
- Menu dishes are ready - How to Setup Your Menu.
- For dine-in, Spaces and tables exist - How to Setup Your Table Layout.
Open Orders
- Open Orders in the sidebar. The main board shows active cards under the Orders tab, with Table and KOT tabs nearby.
- Filter with Dine In or Delivery when you want a quieter board.

Choose an order type
- Select + Add New Order (shortcut N).
- In Add New Order, choose the service you need: Dine In order, Delivery order, Reservation, Take away, Pick up, or Quick billing.

For a fast cashier flow without leaving a dedicated terminal layout, you can also open POS Mode - Using POS Mode.
Start a Dine In order
- Choose Dine In order. The Add Order screen opens on the Table tab.
- Browse Spaces such as Balcony or Roof Top. Pick a table marked Open. Tables marked Occupied already have an active order.
- Use Search if you know the table name. Switch to the Customer tab when you need to link a guest profile instead of starting from a table only.

Add dishes and confirm
- On Select Dishes, browse All Categories or a category chip, then tap Add on each dish.
- Watch Cart Items on the right. Optionally set Enter No. of guests, Assign Customer, or Assign Staff.
- Finish with Confirm Order or Confirm & Print when you also need a printed ticket.

Quick billing uses a similar Select Dishes and Cart Items layout when you need a rapid bill without a long dine-in stay. Delivery steps are covered in How to Take Delivery Orders.
What happens next
After you confirm, the order appears on the Orders board and kitchen tickets show under KOT. From the order detail screen you can add more dishes, review activity, or check out.
