How to Setup Your Table Layout
Organize Spaces and tables under Table & Space, with screenshots and links to detailed guides.
Your table layout helps you organize dining areas and seating so you can manage dine-in service clearly. In RestroX this lives under Table & Space.
Think of Spaces as rooms or zones (for example rooftop, balcony, or main hall), and tables as the seats you place inside each zone. Room can also appear as a Table Type when you create a table - it is not a separate Floor screen.
Before you start
- Finish your restaurant account - How to Set Up Your Restaurant Account.
- Decide how you split dining zones in real life, so your Spaces match how you manage seating.
Open Table & Space
- Open Table & Space from the sidebar. You will see Table, Space, and QR Codes.

Set up Spaces and tables
- Learn what a Space is - What is a Space?.
- Create your dining zones under Space - How to Add a New Space.

- Add tables under Table and link them to Spaces - How to Add a New Table.
- If you need many tables quickly, use How to Create Tables in Bulk or How to Generate Multiple Table Rows Automatically.
- Review capacities and table counts per zone - Managing Space Capacities and Tables.

Optional: QR codes for tables
When you are ready to print or share table QR codes, open QR Codes under Table & Space. See How to Generate Table QR Codes, How to Customize QR Code Layouts, and How to Download and Print QR Codes.
