Use Income under Finance for money that is not a normal sales invoice - for example other revenue you still need on the books.
Before you start
- Know the income account head and the party involved.
- Decide which payment account receives the money.
Open Income
- Open Finance > Income.
- Create a new income entry with the account head, amount, party, and payment account your form requires.
- Save, then confirm the amount appears on Transactions under the Income summary and on Day Book in the Income receipts row.
Income and expenses can share empty-state guidance. On Expenses, an empty list can show No income and expense found with a prompt to create or import data - treat Income the same way when the list is empty.
