The Bill Total or Tax Looks Wrong. Where Do I Check?

Follow the bill step by step to find where a total or tax went wrong.

Follow the bill from top to bottom on the Checkout screen.

  1. Ordered items: check each line's rate, quantity and Item Total.
  2. Discounts: look at the Disc. column, the bill-level discount and any Loyalty Discount.
  3. Charges: look for extra charges and Complimentary items.
  4. Taxable Amount: this is the base the tax is worked on.
  5. Tax rates: open Finance, then Tax & Rates, and check the names, percentages and inclusive or exclusive setting.
  6. Dish price: in the menu, check the dish price, the variant and the Menu Set price.
