Applying Discounts, Surcharges and Taxes

Apply discounts, extra charges, complimentary tags, and review taxable amounts on Checkout.

Before payment, you can shape the final invoice with discounts, extra charges, complimentary tags, and the tax lines your restaurant uses. These controls live on the Checkout screen.

Open the bill

  1. From the order, select Checkout.
  2. Review Ordered Items so every rate and QTY is correct before you adjust money fields.

Apply discounts and charges

  1. Use the Disc. column on a line (Rs or %) when only some items need a discount.
  2. In the center panel, adjust bill-level Discount and review Loyalty Discount, Sub Total, and Taxable Amount.
  3. Select + Add Extra Charges for surcharges such as service or table charges your restaurant uses.
  4. Use Complimentary when an item or bill portion should be marked complimentary.
  5. Confirm the ESTIMATE preview still matches what the guest should pay, then continue to payment.

Tips and other surcharge styles appear through the extra-charge and discount controls your restaurant enabled. Only use labels you see on screen for your login.
