KOT Setting covers kitchen order ticket types, what prints on each ticket, and which dishes route to KOT or BOT stations. Open it from Settings under Order Setting. The page has three tabs: Type, Setting, and Kitchen Assignment.

Before you start

  • Decide whether you need separate ticket types such as KOT (Kitchen Order Ticket) and BOT (Bar Order Ticket).
  • If printers are already added under Printers, you can attach them while creating a KOT type.

Open KOT Setting

  1. Open Settings for this restaurant.
  2. Under Order Setting, select KOT Setting.
  3. Start on the Type tab to review existing KOT types.

Manage KOT types

On the Type tab, the table lists KOT Type Name, assigned Printer, No of Dish, and Description. Use Search to find a type, the row menu for actions, and + Add New to create one.

  1. Click + Add New. The Add KOT Type dialog opens.
  2. Enter KOT Type Name (required), choose a Printer if ready, and add an optional Description.
  3. Click Save Changes to keep the type, or Reset to clear the form.

Configure what prints on a KOT

  1. Open the Setting tab.
  2. Under KOT Heading Details, select fields such as KOT No, Order Type, Table, Order By, Time, and Table as Sub Heading.
  3. Under Line Items Details, choose S.N, Dishes, QTY, and Total.
  4. Under Font Settings, set Font Size, optionally Upload Font File, or click Reset.
  5. Check Print Preview on the right for edited KOTs, table, type, remarks, and line items.

Assign dishes to kitchens

  1. Open the Kitchen Assignment tab.
  2. Review Unassigned Dishes, then the KOT and BOT panels. Each panel shows item counts and whether a printer is assigned.
  3. Use the item rows (Items, Submenu, Category) and View All to move or review dishes for each station. Use + Add New or Search when you need to adjust the assignment list.
