Managing Cash and Bank Accounts

Cash & Banks is where payment accounts live - cash counters, bank accounts, and other modes you select when taking or sending money.

Before you start

• List the accounts your restaurant actually uses (counter, bank, wallets).
• Keep naming consistent so reports stay readable.

Open Cash & Banks

1. Open Finance > Cash & Banks.
2. Review and maintain the accounts your team will pick as payment modes.

Those accounts appear later as Payment Mode & Account choices on Payment In and Payment Out, and as columns on Day Book and Daily Sales Summary.

See accounts in payments

1. Open Finance > Payments and start Payment In or Payment Out.
2. Under Payment Mode & Account, select the account chip you need (for example Card, Cash, Bank Account, or a named wallet).

What happens next

Move money between accounts with Performing Balance Transfers, and review mode totals in Payment Mode Summary from Reports.
